Passion Projects

How much of your time is dedicated to passion projects that use your professional skills in unpaid ways?

I put time into building community in the Comox Valley, primarily in Facebook groups, via Comox Valley Buzz. This encompasses all kinds of micro-communities, like newcomers to the valley, fitness aficionados, and a rants & raves group.

I also work on LIFT Startups, a network for entrepreneurial folk on Vancouver Island. Again, there are a variety of Facebook groups, as well as in-person social events.
